NEW HAMPSHIRE & MAINE, SEPT 28 ,2006

Itinerary: - Day 5 - September 28, Thursday This morning we ll enter New Hampshire and stop in Bath to visit the oldest continuous operating General Store in America. Then it s on into the White Mountains and across the scenic "Kancamagus Highway", once an old Indian Trail. Our destination is the "Castle in the Clouds" for lunch on own. Later we ll tour this mansion built high on top of the Ossipee Mountains which will amaze you. The castle s interior beauty is surpassed only by the magnificent view of Squam and Winnipesaukee Lakes surrounded by thousands of trees in full color. Next we ll travel the two-lane roads through the New Hampshire and Maine countryside to Old Orchard Beach. Upon arrival we ll enjoy our wonderful included full Maine Lobster dinner at Joseph s overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Later we ll check into our hotel for the night, the Edgewater. The hotel is located next door to the restaurant.
