Itinerary: - Day 9 — October 2, Monday This morning we ll enjoy an guided tour of this city famous for its magnificent mansions including a visit to the William K. Vanderbilt mansion, "Marble House", built in 1892. You ll enjoy this morning as we will see many of the other Mansions of the Gilded Age and learn the history of this community. We ll have time to enjoy lunch on your own and browse the shops in Newport before departing. Our travels this afternoon will take us along the Connecticut coast to Mystic for our afternoon break and time to browse Olde Mistick Village. Late this afternoon we ll arrive in New York City area and head to into our hotel for the night, the Holiday Inn Crown Plaza in Secaucus, New Jersey, just across the Hudson River from Manhattan. Following time to refresh, we ll enjoy our included Farewell Dinner at the hotel.
