We are spending the month of March in California this year or at least the last 3 weeks. We stopped in Chandler, Arizona, on the way to visit out friends wintering there and spent a couple of nights with them as well as play a little golf. We checked into our Solana Beach reservation on Saturday, March 7, and checked out on Saturday, March 14. We golfed 5 days and also spent some time with our good friends TJ and Maryola. Took a vacation from taking pictures that week. We checked into our reservations at Carlsbad on Saturday, March 14. On Sunday we spent some time with TJ and Maryola again at Seaport Village in San Diego. TJ took me aboard the aircraft carrier, USS Midway, which has been turned into a museum. It was a good experience which brought back memories of Navy days. We golfed again on Monday with some friends from our church back home who are staying in Lawrence Welk Village. We went to dinner with them in Oceanside at a restaurant on the pier. On Tuesday we visited The Carlsbad Flower Fields and the Quail botanical Gardens. Both beautiful places. We ended the day watching the beautiful sunset on the Carlsbad beach.  Today, Wednesday, we golfed again and visited the Carlsbad Farmers Market.
