OUR SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS VISIT WITH NICOLE & REY ... MARCH 26-29, 2006
We made a side trip to San Antonio, Texas, to visit Nicole and Rey and see there home. We arrived on Sunday in time to go out to dinner with them. Monday, it was back to their busy schedules with school and work. Nicole took some time off on Monday afternoon so we visited the Market Place and had a nice Mexican meal there. We then went back to their house and engaged in a couple games of Scrabble. We didn't see too much of Rey as he was on a closing shift where he works so didn't get home until after midnight. On Tuesday Arlene and I were pretty much on our own but we visited an art center which Nicole wanted us to see. Can you believe it! I forgot to bring the camera along! The grounds were beautiful although we weren't allowed to take pictures of the exhibits anyway. We left San Antonio for Minnesota early Wednesday morning and got back to Roseville, MN Thursday afternoon.
