A VISIT TO RONALD REAGAN LIBRARY IN SIMI VALLEY ... MARCH 6, 2006
It was raining today so we decided to take a short driver to The Ronald Reagan Library so we could spend the time indoors. We had been there some years ago but they have now added a very large addition which houses "Air Force One" from the Reagan era. We took a tour of the inside of the plane. Weren't allowed to take pictures inside the plane. The current "Air Force One" is twice as wide, has a second deck and much more luxurious we heard. Lots of movie memorabilia and a display of old army uniforms, etc. starting back in the "Custer era". It was quite interesting. The library is located high in a mountainous area. It's a beautiful area but the weather hampered outside picture taking. Here are a few pictures taken during our visit.
