A VISIT TO SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA ... MARCH 5, 2006
We left Roseville for California on Wednesday, March 1, 2006. After driving over 700 miles a day we arrived at our first destination at Harbortown Point Marina Resort & Club, Ventura, CA, on Saturday, March 4th. We are staying in a studio apartment which is quite small but very nice. Arlene didn't feel well after we checked in so she crapped out on the sofa during the afternoon and evening. She felt better today so we took a short trip up the coast to visit Santa Barbara. It's a very pretty area. The had a large art fair in the beach park which was quite interesting. Lots of nice parks, streets, shopping and restaurants. Here are a few pictures taken in the area.
