OUR CALIFORNIA TRIP ... MARCH 27, 2005 ... Easter Sunday

We attended a sun rise service at 7:30 am this morning on the beach not to far from our condo. It was an hour and a half service. It was a contemporary worship service with a swinging band and choir. The guest speakers were Cam Cameron, the offensive coordinator of the San Diego Chargers, Drew Brees, the San Diego Chargers quarterback, Kim Alexis, super model and actress and the minister, Shawn Mitchell. After the service they served breakfast. There were probably 3 or 4 thousand people in attendence. (Sorry, No pictures of this event.) We then joined our good friend T.J., Maryola and their son, Ben, at the Bahai Hotel for Easter brunch which is located on Mission Bay. After the brunch we took a boat ride in the bay on the William D. Evans paddle wheeler. Great friends and great food. Thanks T.J. and Maryola!
