OUR CALIFORNIA TRIP ... MARCH 19, 2005

We hooked up again with our good friends, TJ and Maryola, from Chula Vista today and took a short trip to San Juan Capistrano to celebrate the return of the swallows, although we didn't see any swallows. They had a large parade and celebrations going on all over the city. We also visited the old mission that was basically destroyed in an earth quake many years ago. They still have a chapel there of which we took a few pictures. Also pictures of the grounds. People were dressed in full costume and the atmosphere was that of the Old West. We had a late lunch and did a little window shopping in the old part of the town before returning to Oceanside. Here are a few pictures taken during the day.
