OUR CALIFORNIA TRIP ... FEBRUARY 27 THROUGH MARCH 4, 2005

We left Roseville on Saturday morning about 7:00 am and after about 700+ miles we ended up in Pratt, Kansas for the first night. On Sunday we drive another 700+ miles we ended up in Holbrook, Arizona, that evening. On Monday we visited with Ione and Cliff in Chandler next to Phoenix, Arizona. They were a great host and hostess and had made a tee time so we got in 9 holes of golf with them Monday afternoon. We stayed with them on Monday night and headed out on the last leg of the trip to Oceanside, California, arriving there around 3:30 pm on Tuesday. On Wednesday we took a walk on the beach and checked out some local golf courses. We also got in 18 holes at an Executive course called "Emerald Hills". On Thursday we played another 18 holes at the Oceanside Golf Course. Friday we washed some clothes and took a drive down to Del Mar to visit our old haunts and made a tee time for Monday at our favorite executive course in Solona Beach. So far the weather has cooperated and has been sunny and in the 60's except for some spotty showers today.
