Day 19 .. Final Day .. November 24, 2007

We will be heading home today. We had a debrief meeting in the morning to say good-bye to those departing on a post trip tour in Fiji. They were going on a cruise of the islands. The rest of us had the day to do whatever we wished as our bus didn't depart for the airport until 5:30 p.m. The temperature was 95 with about the same humidity so there wasn't too much you wanted to do outdoors. Arlene did play a round of 18 holes of miniature golf but we were almost wringing wet when we got done. Others spent some time by the pool and other water activities while others just tried to keep cool. We checked into the airport around 7:00 p.m. but our plane didn't leave until 11:00 p.m. for Los Angeles, California, so we once again had a lot of airport time but it was a time to visit with those friends we had made on the tour. We had another delay in Los Angeles but finally made it home around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday evening also on the 24th as we gained a day on the way back to the States. We will have a lot of lasting memories.
