Day 15 .. November 20, 2007

Today we are visiting the Maritime Museum where we will take a 45 minute discovery experience sailing on the Auckland harbor with Pride of Auckland and then visit the museum. We then boarded the bus for a sightseeing tour of the city. After the tour we visited Devonport across the bay. Jo, our tour guide, mother lives here. Her brother is one of the top wine experts in New Zealand and he hosted a wine tasting session answering many of our questions about how to choose a wine. We then walked to the top of one of the volcanos to view the surrounding areas. Beautiful! After coming back down from the volcano we went to Jo's mother's home where her mother hosted a tea party for us. A very gracious lady.
