We had the family visit us for a cookout on Friday, July 31st. Greta and Bob, Kris and Dave,
Nicole, Rey and Nora and Eric and Sue all showed up for steaks and a whole lot of other
good stuff. Arlene, Nicole and Rey went shopping for groceries and had a field day as Arlene
had received $100 as a gift and they spent it all on the food. After stuffing ourselves, Nora,
our entomologist, found a bug that turned out to be a Cicada that was about to emerge from
it’s outer casing. Much to our surprise, we were able to watch as it emerged from the
casing. Here are some pix of the event. Enjoy!
