In spite of cold rainy weather we visited the “Slice of Shoreview” festivities at Island Lake Park. Nora got to take several rides and others were able to enjoy the mini-donuts, cotton candy and other goodies. We also watched a dog show competition which was quite interesting. After that we went to a restaurant/bar that Eric was filling in, playing bass guitar, with some old friends in a band. We had dinner there and listened to the music for awhile before calling it a day. Here are a few pictures taken during the day.
