We made a trip to California with a stop at  Albuqurque, NM to visit our friends Pat and Gene who are wintering there. From there we proceeded to Simi Valley to visit our old friends from Minnesota who a have lived there some 20 plus years, Dick and Gale. We then proceeded to Carlsbad to check in at our 28 day rental place where we had stayed once before. The weather cooperated and gave us excellent driving conditions both coming and going as well as for our stay. Thank you Lord. We spent about 4 days a week on the golf course and also spent time with my former Navy buddy, TJ and his wife Maryola. Always look forward to spending time with them. Both Arlene and I came down with colds during the end of the stay and are still recovering at this time. Here are some pictures taken during our trip. ll
